Step-by-Step: How to Get Started with CustomCat

 

Getting started with CustomCat is fast and simple. Whether you're new to print-on-demand or a seasoned seller, follow the steps below to create your account and choose the right plan so you can start selling custom products today.

1. Visit CustomCat

  • Go to customcat.com.

  • Click “Start Selling” in the top right corner of the homepage.

2. Sign Up for an Account

  • Choose to sign up using your email address.

  • Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then click Sign Up.

3. Verify Your Email

  • If you signed up using an email address, check your inbox for a verification code.

  • Enter the code to confirm your email and unlock full access to your account.

4. Select a Subscription Plan

Once your account is verified, you’ll be prompted to choose a subscription:

  • CustomCat LITE
     Free Plan. Base level pricing. 

  • CustomCat PRO
    Save 20–40% on every item in our catalog. Get access to exclusive PRO-only promotions throughout the year.

  • Enterprise
    For high-volume businesses. Reach out to our sales team to learn more and see if you qualify for deeper discounts.

💡 For this tutorial, we’ll continue with the CustomCat PRO plan.

5. Set Up Your Payment Method

  • Enter your primary payment method for your subscription and order fulfillment.

  • You can update this later in your account settings.

6. Complete Your Account Settings

After selecting your plan and payment method, you’ll land on your Account Settings page.

  • Enter Your Account Address
    Make sure your business address is accurate.

  • Upload Tax Documents (Optional)
    If you’re selling on a marketplace like Etsy, Amazon, or eBay, you may qualify for tax exemption as a Marketplace Facilitator.

  • Save Changes
    Scroll down and click Save Changes to lock in your settings.
