Step-by-Step: How to Edit Product Listings From Your CustomCat Account

 

Need to update product details like pricing, colors, or descriptions? You can edit synced listings directly from your CustomCat dashboard without starting from scratch. Here's how to do it.

1. Access Your Product Listings

  • Log in to your CustomCat account.

  • Click “My Products” in the left navigation menu.

  • Select the store you want to manage.

⚠️ Note: Page load time may vary depending on the number of listings.

2. Locate the Product You Want to Edit

  • Go to the “Synced” tab to view products synced for fulfillment.

  • Find the listing you want to update.

You can open the Listing Editor in one of two ways:

  • Click “Update Fulfillment” or click directly on the product to open its details, then click “Edit Listing.”

  • OR click the three-dot menu on the right side of the product and select “Edit Listing.”

3. Edit Colors and Sizes

  • Deselect colors or sizes to remove them from your listing.

  • Add new variants by selecting additional colors or sizes.

⚠️ Note: Removing a color or size is permanent and will delete the variant from your live listing.

Click “Next” to continue.

4. Modify Product Details

On the next screen, you can update the following:

  • Product Title

  • Description

  • Variant Pricing

  • Product Tags

You also have the option to:

  • Overwrite Mockups
    → This replaces your current listing images with updated CustomCat mockups for the synced product.

🚫 Note for Etsy users: Overwriting mockups is not supported on Etsy.

5. Export Your Changes

  • Click “Next” to move to the export page.

  • Review your updates and click “Export Edits.”

  • On the confirmation page, click “Confirm” to publish your changes.

6. View Your Updated Listing

After exporting:

  • Click “Edit in Store” to view the updated product on your eCommerce platform.

  • Click “Edit in CustomCat” to reopen the product inside your CustomCat dashboard.

❗ Important Notes

  • If not all variants are synced to CustomCat, you can only edit product-level data (title, description, tags, pricing).

  • If no variants are synced, editing is disabled.

  • Grouped listings (i.e., multi-style products) cannot be edited using this method.

You’ve successfully updated your product listing details directly from CustomCat—without having to recreate the listing.
