Step-by-Step: Grouping Products into One Listing in Shopify with CustomCat
Creating a single Shopify listing with multiple products using the CustomCat app is simple. Follow the steps below to group different styles (like tees or hoodies) under one listing using the same design.
1. Create Your Products
- Open the CustomCat App and click Create Product.
- In the Select a Store dropdown, choose your connected Shopify store.
- You’ll now see the CustomCat product catalog.
2. Choose and Customize the First Product
- For this example, we’re applying the same design to multiple t-shirt styles.
- Start with the G500 Gildan Ultra Cotton T-Shirt and click Edit.
- Adjust the product name, cost, and tags as needed.
- Click Confirm when you're done.
3. Add Your Second Product
- Select your next style (e.g., G640 Gildan Men’s Softstyle Tee).
- Repeat the steps: edit the name, cost, tags, colors, and sizes.
- Click Confirm again.
4. Proceed to Grouping
- After both products are created, click Next to move to Step 2.
- Click the Select All checkbox to choose both products.
- Open the Actions dropdown and select Group Products.
5. Configure Your Grouped Listing
- Enter a group name, update the listing description, and add any relevant tags.
- Once everything looks right, click Save Product.
6. Export the Grouped Listing
- Click the Export Products button to continue.
- On the final export screen, review your listing details by clicking into each product if needed.
- When ready, hit Confirm in the top right corner.
You'll see a progress bar showing export activity for all grouped products. Once completed, a success message will appear under each item.
