Step-by-Step: How to Update Fulfillment of Your Synced Product Listings

 

Need to update your product design or swap out a variant without rebuilding the entire listing? Use Update Fulfillment to re-map synced product variants in CustomCat quickly and efficiently.


1. Access Your Products

  • Log in to your CustomCat account.

  • Click “My Products” from the left-hand navigation.

  • Select the store you'd like to manage.

⚠️ Note: If you have a large product catalog, this page may take a moment to load.

  • Click on any product to view its details.


2. View Synced Product Listings

  • Click the “Synced” tab to display products with CustomCat fulfillment enabled.

💡 If updates aren’t showing up, click the “Refresh” button to update the list.


3. Update Fulfillment Settings

  • Find the product you want to modify and click “Update Fulfillment.”

  • Each variant will show its linked CustomCat item.

To update or re-map a variant:

  • Click “Re-Sync” from the Actions menu next to that variant.

  • Review the current product title, size, and color in the top-left section of the page.

  • You can now update:

    • The product style

    • The variant’s size and color

    • The design file and positioning


4. Replace a Product (Out of Stock Example)

To replace a discontinued or out-of-stock product:

  • Click “Select Different Product.”

  • Choose a new style from the catalog (e.g., Bella 3001C).

  • Adjust size and color to match your listing.

You can also:

  • Edit product details

  • Click the “Design” tab to upload a new design or reposition existing artwork

Click “Next” to save your changes and complete the re-sync.


5. Sync Changes to All Variants

To apply the update across all variants:

  • Click the three-dot menu next to the updated variant

  • Select “Sync to All Variants”

⚠️ Warning: This will overwrite all previously synced variants. Click “Yes” to confirm.

  • If the size and color match, variants will update automatically.

  • If not, you’ll see a “Sync not completed” message and will need to re-sync variants individually.


6. Manage Variant Syncing

  • To stop syncing a variant, click “Ignore” next to it.

  • To resume fulfillment for an ignored variant, click “Ignored” again to undo the action.


❗ Important Notes

  • These updates do not affect the listing details on your store (e.g., price, mockups, descriptions).

  • This only updates the variant mapping used by CustomCat for order fulfillment.
