Step-by-Step: How to View & Edit Your CustomCat Products

 

The My Products feature is a centralized dashboard that lets you manage all the products you've created or synced through the CustomCat App.  This feature allows you to view, manage, and update product listings connected to your store. 

1. View Your Products

  • Log in to your CustomCat account.

  • Click “My Products” in the left-hand navigation.

  • Select the store you want to manage from the dropdown menu.

⚠️ Note: If you have a large catalog, initial load time may take longer.

2. Use Product Tabs to Filter

The product list is divided into two tabs:

  • Synced
    Shows only listings with at least one variant being fulfilled by CustomCat.

  • Not Synced
    Displays listings that are not mapped to any CustomCat SKUs.

⚠️ Note: If products are missing, click the Refresh button.

3. Understand Product Info Display

Each product in the list shows key details:

  • Listing Image – Main product image displayed in your product listing

  • Product Title & Style – Includes the Product Listing Title and the CustomCat product style name

  • Last Updated – Timestamp for last sync/edit

  • Status – May show:

    • The number of variants Synced

    • The number of variants Not Synced

    • The number of variants Ignored

    • Inventory Alerts (see below)

4. Watch for Product Alerts

Keep an eye out for the following alert indicators:

  • Out of Stock – One or more variants are temporarily unavailable

  • Discontinued – Product or variant is no longer offered by CustomCat

  • No Valid SKUs – Listing has missing or invalid SKUs that can't be fulfilled

5. Update Fulfillment Info

  • Click “Update Fulfillment” or simply click on the product to view more details.

  • At the top, you can see the main product listing image and title with the options:

    • Edit Listing - Edit certain listing info to overwrite and republish to your store.
    • Edit in Store - Edit ALL listing info in your store's platform. 

  • Below, you can see the Variant details from your live product listing and the associated CustomCat Item that each variant is mapped to along with various actions.

6. Available Actions 

Below each Variant, you have the option to Edit Price, Ignore, or Delete each variation. Keep in mind these actions apply to your live product listing in your store. 

  • Edit Price

    → Instantly updates the selling price of the variation in your product listing 

  • Ignore
    → Tells CustomCat to ignore any orders for this variant
  • Delete
    → Permanently removes the variant from your store

⚠️ This action cannot be undone


Next to each Variant there is a Resync button. Use Resync to edit the CustomCat Item associated with the Variant in your product listing.

⚠️ Note:  This action will NOT visibly edit or update anything in your store's product listing however, this will update the item that CustomCat will fulfill. 

Click the three-dot icon next to any product to open additional options:

  • Create Order
    → Place a manual order using any synced variants

  • Sync to all variants
    → Selecting this option will attempt to sync each variation automatically using the same product, color, design as long as the Variant details are an exact match to CustomCat Color and Size.
